Join us on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on the lawn at First United Methodist Church for a peaceful, public witness of faith, courage, and love. We will gather for prayer and song, and then move together in a gentle procession, lifting up clergy voices and a love-centered, nonviolent presence in our community. Together we will proclaim a simple truth: there is enough for everyone, there is dignity for everyone, and there is room for everyone.
Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus entered Jerusalem not on a war horse, but on a donkey - not with domination, but with humility; not with violence, but with healing. His entry was a public, visible declaration that love is stronger than fear. We walk that same path today. Palm Sunday is only the beginning. In the weeks that follow, we will continue advocating for humane immigration policies, protecting healthcare access, fighting hunger in our communities, showing up at city, county, and state meetings, and holding leaders accountable - regardless of party - because faith belongs in the streets as much as it does in the sanctuary.
Everyone is welcome. Bring your kids, your friends, your congregation, your walking shoes, and your hopeful heart. If you care about your neighbors, you belong here. Together, we commit ourselves to nonviolence, ecumenical welcome, courageous love, public faith without partisanship, and the dignity of every human being.
