Questions for Pastor Heather. May Worship Schedule. Children + Youth Ministry Update

Questions for Pastor Heather

Questions for Pastor Heather

The first Wednesday in Lent, I put out a box with a sign that said, “Questions for Pastor Heather.”  This came about because the kids were asking so many questions during worship on Wednesdays that I couldn’t answer them without completely derailing worship!  I also didn’t want to discourage them from asking questions, so the “Questions for Pastor Heather” box was born.

Holy Cross Rummage Sale

Save the Date! And your stuff!

The High School youth are hosting a Rummage Sale on May 17th & 18th and we need YOUR stuff! If you have household items, furniture, books, tools, kitchen items, decorations, blankets, equipment - anything laying around that you no longer need, consider donating it to our Rummage Sale!

Due to limited storage space, we have set drop off dates for items that can be found above. Please respect those dates.

If you are comfortable doing so, please price your items before bringing them. It would help us out a lot!
*Please know that we may change your prices if they are too high/low.*

If you have questions, please contact Kelsey. Thanks for your help in making our Rummage Sale a success!

Thank You's

Thank You's

Dear WELCA Friends,

Thank you for your organization's recent gift to Lutheran World Relief! When you love your neighbors with your generous gifts to LWR, you change lives in amazing ways.

Thank you for saving and transforming lives by loving your neighbors.

Warm Regards,
Ambassador Daniel Speckhard - President and CEO of Lutheran World Relief

Dear Holy Cross Welca,

Thank you for recognizing the needs and realizing the potential of youth experiencing homelessness and near-homelessness with your recent donation. Your gift helps change a young person's life in many ways, and we are most grateful! Often times, homeless youth want to remain invisible. They hide their situation out of shame and the negative stereotypes that are associated with their circumstances.

Thank you for helping improve the lives of our youth and for making our community better and stronger with your contribution. Our work is not possible without your support, and we are incredibly grateful.

With gratitude,
Andy Saladino - Director of Development - Youth Emergency Services

Dear Holy Cross WELCA,

We recently received your gift to Lutheran Family Services. Your donation is going to make a huge difference for people in need. Already these funds are being funneled into critical projects to further our goal to build and strengthen individual, family, and community life. Your ongoing support and commitment ensure we have resources to continue these programs.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a positive impact in our communities.

Best,
Chris Tonniges - President and CEO - Lutheran Family Services

Dear Holy Cross Welca,

Thank you for your generous gift to LFS! We are beyond grateful for Ministry Partners like Holy Cross WELCA. I look forward to meeting you and your church soon.

Jens Acamo - Church Relations Specialist - Lutheran Family Services
