 Alleluia!  Christ is risen! Out of pain, loss, and death, God brings the joy of resurrection and new life.  This is the Good News that we celebrate on Easter Sunday and it is this amazingly good news that we continue to celebrate throughout the season of Easter.  This year, the Easter season extends through the months of April and May as we celebrate the joyful good news of the resurrection as well as proclaiming the promise of new life for us.   Christ is risen indeed!  Alleluia!
