The season of Advent is once again upon us.  If you were with us on November 30, you were able to watch the Sanctuary transform from the season of Pentecost into the season of Advent.  It is a season that asks us to wait patiently and to have hope!

Our music during the season includes the December 21 presentation of “Journey of Promises” by Joseph Martin. The Chancel Choir and Middle/High School singers are joined by instrumentalists, soloists, and of course, our Sunday School kids.  The Middle/High School Bells and Carolon Bells join together to play bells and chimes for the prelude.  It’s a big day, and I’m looking forward to sharing our joy!

To get in the spirit of the season, we are, once again, Christmas caroling to some of our members who are unable to attend in person.  December 14 is the date at 2:00 p.m. (arrive at 1:45 p.m.) You can sign up in the Narthex.  No experience required!

Christmas Eve Services:
4:00 p.m.  A children focused service with the telling of the Christmas Story.  Radical Ringers, Uke Choir, and Sunday School kids are apart of this kid-friendly service.

7:00 p.m. Our Candlelight service with carols and special music by the Chancel Choir.  It is a lovely service to relax and meditate.

I hope to see you during the Advent/Christmas season.  It’s one of my favorite seasons.  (Spoiler:  When it is the season of Lent, that is my favorite season!)
