We have officially entered the longest season of the church year! This season, known as the “time after Pentecost,” is often referred to as “Ordinary Time.” It is the longest season of the church year and lasts all the way until Advent! During the time after Pentecost, the color is green - with the exceptions of Reformation Sunday (red), All Saints Sunday, and Christ the King Sunday (both white). During this season, we will remain focused on the life and ministry of Jesus as well as God’s on-going work in the world.
