March Music

March is an exciting month for music!

Wednesday, March 5 is Ash Wednesday.  We mark the day by receiving the mark of the cross.  Ash Wednesday service begins at 6:30 p.m.  There are no children choirs or youth activities that night. 

Holden Evening Prayers-a mid-week relaxation:  Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. March 12, 19, 26, April 2, and April 9.   

Our first of five Sundays of Lent begins Sunday, March 9.   Long ago, Pastor Heather was a guest pastor during Lent here at Holy Cross, and I’ll never forget what she said:  “Sundays during Lent are just a little bit of Easter!”  I have always thought that is the most wonderful statement ever!  Plan to be here on Sundays during Lent so that you can have a little bit of Easter!

April 18  Good Friday  7:00 p.m.

April 20  Easter!

May:  Children’s Service with guests- Youth and Adults!  (I can’t wait!)
