This month we officially conclude the Epiphany season with transfiguration Sunday on March 2 and then enter into Lent on Ash Wednesday, March 5. As we gather to be reminded that we are all dust and to dust we shall return, we begin our journey towards the cross. Lent is a wonderful season for quiet reflection and to be reminded that God is present with us in our most difficult times. In our baptism we are forever united with Christ and nothing, not even death, can separate us from God’s love for us.
