Alas, November is here full of autumnal moments and music!  Of course, All Saints’ Day, celebrated on November 2, is such a beautiful time to celebrate those who are no longer with us.  Yet, they are with us in spirit!  “Oh, When the Saints Go Marching In” is an absolute favorite or mine-especially with the trumpets! Bill Sukstorf has recruited a 2nd trumpeter, HCLC confirmand-Christopher Poole.  I’m super excited that Christopher wants to celebrate with us through music!

This year, we are doing a service in Celebration to Honor Indigenous People on November 26 @ 6:30 p.m. Pastor Heather as included this in her Pastor’s article, so make sure to check it out.  Following the service, we will have the famous pies you bring and prep for out “Hanging of the Greens” service which is November 30 @ 9:30 a.m.  That is the first Sunday of Advent.  Don’t be surprised if you hear Christmas music coming out of rehearsals during November.  We are always two months ahead of the season!

Upcoming:  Advent, The big Christmas Extravaganza of all musicians (December 21), and of course, Christmas Eve Services at 4 & 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy your family, check on your neighbors, be kind, and be that light that someone needs.  Love you all!
