It’s now been a month of rehearsals for all the choirs, so watch out….here we come!
I am Happy to report that the Ukulele choir has learned, yet again, another two chords. Congratulations, Ukulele Choir. What this means to you, the congregation: the hymn you sing with Uke accompaniment will neither be too high or too low. It will be JUST right!
Some important dates:
February 8: Don’t miss this 9:30 a.m. service! Not only is it our celebration of being a Reconciling Congregation, it is, also, a day of special guests: The River City Mixed Chorus. It is always such a wonderful day. Come and celebrate with us!
Ash Wednesday service is at 6:30 p.m. on February 18. The Chancel Choir is singing “Dust and Ashes” which reminds us of our journey of the Lenten Season.
February 25 is the first Wednesday of Lent. The service at 6:30 p.m. includes “Holden Evening Prayer.” The congregation is invited to join us February 25 through March 25. It’s a mid-week reprieve to gather your positive energy.
(Just so you know, the palms are ordered!)
Thank you, as always, for supporting the music program here at Holy Cross Lutheran Church!
Musically Yours,
Becky Jones
