THANK YOU to all of you who joined us for "Who Is My Neighbor" Vacation Bible School. It was such a joy to be together again in the building, to hear your laughter, and to pray, dance and learn with you! I hope that you enjoyed our week together and shared all the things we learned with your families. A BIG thank you for loving our neighbors at Youth Emergency Services through your donations, prayers, and help sorting. Together, we donated the following items to our friends at the YES Outreach Center:
Fall is quickly approaching, and we are still a little unsure what it will bring as far as in person Sunday School goes. Currently, our Sunday School kick off date is set for Sunday September 12th.
Our Council meets in early August, and at that meeting we will discuss our options moving forward. The health and safety of our unvaccinated young ones is our top priority and we want to make sure we are making the correct decisions for their health and wellbeing. Stay tuned to your emails and the website for updates regarding our starting dates for the fall.
One thing we DO know for sure is that this fall, we are planning to stick with our current 9:30 am service time. This will be different from past years, but will work great for Sunday School! Following worship, we will begin Sunday School at 10:45 in the Sanctuary with some music & movement with Becky. Then we'll move into our classrooms and complete the Sunday school hour at 11:45 am.
Again, please watch your emails for more concrete information regarding start dates for the fall!
Although we aren't 100% sure on a start date, due to covid and our little ones not being vaccinated yet, we have some FUN programming ahead of us. Check out Becky's post by clicking HERE to learn about some new fall programming for Kindergarten-5th grade!
Back to School is around the corner! We want to send you back into the classroom with a blessing. Join us on Sunday August 15th at worship for our annual Backpack Blessing. Students and teachers of all ages are encouraged to bring their backpacks or bags to worship and recieve a blessing to begin the school year.
