Breathe With Me

This month is all about giving thanks. For the friends & family we have, for roofs over our heads, food on our table, and so much more. Do you ever associate any of that with God? If not, you totally should! God is in the midst of all good things - all the things that bring us joy, life, and love. As you reflect on all of the things that you are grateful for this month, remember that God is in the midst of every single one of those things. God is at work in our lives, and we can see God in the things that we are grateful for. 

Let's breathe, remembering that God is in the midst of our gratefulness.

Relax, and find your breath. When you're ready, pray with me:

Inhale: Where I am grateful,

Exhale: You are there.

Repeat that breath prayer as many times as you would like. End your meditation time with one long inhale and one extra long exhale.

Youth Group

Youth Group is in full swing and it's been so good to see everyone on Wednesday nights from 7-8 pm. Parents, continue to watch your emails for weekly plans, and students, continue to check Instagram! (follow us here)

Youth Gathering 2022

Our trip to the ELCA Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, MN, will be Thurs July 21-Thurs July 28, 2022. Early Bird registration forms are DUE NOV 7th with a nonrefundable deposit of $150. Please find the parent info form attached and reach out to Kelsey if you have questions!

Fall Craft Fair

Each year, we host a Fall Craft Fair at Holy Cross that supports our youth fund. This year, our Fall Craft Fair is Saturday November 13th from 9a-3p. We need lots of hands on deck to help make it a success! Please sign up HERE to help that weekend. Remember, all the funds raised from booth fees go towards the youth fund! Thank you in advance for your help!

Fall Music Opportunites

If you are in 6th-12th grade and are musically inclined - we have opportunities for you! Not only could we use your singing or instrument playing in worship on Sunday mornings, but Becky has some other fun opportunities for you that you can find HERE. 

Advent Gathering

On November 28 following worship, you are invited to join us in the Fellowship Hall for our Advent Gathering! You will have the opportunity to make an Advent paper chain with daily activities, scripture and prayer;  roll new beeswax candles for your Advent wreath; or take part in a small Advent craft. All ages and family sizes are welcome to join in the fun as we get ready for the season of Advent and prepare for Jesus!
