Sunday School

Following worship, we meet in the Sanctuary for some music & movement with Becky before heading to our classrooms until 11:30! We'd love to have you!

Prayer Faith Mile Marker (3rd-5th Grade)

On Sunday March 19th and Sunday March 26th, the 3rd-5th grade Sunday School class took part in the Prayer Faith Mile Marker class with Kelsey. During these two Sundays, we dove deeper into the Lord's Prayer (what are we actually praying about when we say it?!) and we talked about prayer in general - what it is, different ways to do it, and what it can mean to our faith journey. We will celebrate the completion of this class during worship on Sunday April 2nd. Please plan to have your 3rd-5th grade children there on the 2nd.

Explore! Day Retreat at Carol Joy Holling

Make plans to attend the Explore! Day Retreat at Carol Joy Holling on Saturday April 22nd! It is a full day of outdoor fun, creative arts, music, and faith formation for Elementary Age students. We have a few kids from Holy Cross signed up already, and would love to have more! Kelsey is able to help with transportation if needed. Cost is $25 per child, and you can find more info and sign up HERE. (Financial assistance is available if needed - contact Kelsey!)

Youth Led Worship - April 30

On Sunday April 30th, the Children of Holy Cross will be leading worship! This is one of the most fun Sundays of the year, as we hear all of our little voices lead the congregation through worship together. Please plan to have your child there! Read more here!  *We WILL have Sunday School following worship on April 30th.

Wednesday Night Programming

There will be no Wednesday Night Programming on April 5th, during Holy Week.

Wednesday Night Programming is coming to an end! Our last Wednesday night together will be April 26th.

Confirmation Sunday

Save the Date! We will celebrate 5 students saying YES to their baptismal promises on Sunday May 7th during worship.

Junior High Summer Road Trip

Incoming 6th-8th graders (for the fall of 2023) are invited to attend our Junior High Road Trip to the Twin Cities June 25-29, 2023! We will have service learning time, fellowship time, and lots of FUN exploring the Minneapolis/St. Paul area! Registration information has been sent to families, and you can find paper copies on the Youth Wall in the Narthex. Please reach out to Kelsey with questions!

Sunday Morning Opportunities

If you are here on Sunday mornings, we have some FUN opportunities for you!

• If you are musically inclined, head to the sanctuary at 10:45 for Middle School/High School Ensemble, followed by Middle School/High School Bells. 
• If music isn't your thing, head back to the Youth Room at 10:45 for some coffee and conversation time with Kelsey.

Youth Group

Youth Group is held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm. Each Wednesday will look a little different - we'll do bonfires, get to know one another, and throw in some "Faith Lens" Bible devotions. My hope is that our time together can be spent building meaningful relationships, having fun, and learning in a safe space where all feel welcomed and valued. Our last Wednesday evening youth group for the spring will be Wednesday April 26th. Keep your eyes out for opportunities to get together over the summer!

Easter Breakfast

It is a tradition at Holy Cross that ALL High School Students serve Easter Breakfast on Easter morning. Please mark your calendars for Sunday April 9th and plan to be there to help with Easter Breakfast! Breakfast takes place directly following worship. Food assignments will be sent out at the end of March. This breakfast is a fundraiser for the Youth Fund, and we appreciate all your help!

Graduating Senior Sunday

Save the date! We will be celebrating our 6 seniors on Sunday May 14th with a special blessing during worship. Please plan to be there!

High School Summer Trip - The Journey - July 10-15, 2023

We will be heading to Denver, CO on the Nebraska Synod Youth Mission Trip - The Journey! Registration is LIVE. You can find the form below. Early bird deadline has passed, but there is still time to sign up! March 31 is the official registration deadline. Talk to Kelsey if you'd like to go!
