The Holy Cross Food Pantry continues to serve the community the First Saturday and Third Thursday of every month. We will continue with our COVID Prevention Model of a drive-thru pantry service until further notice.
As I returned home after the last food pantry drive thru of 2022, I found myself feeling a lot of different emotions. Relief that the year is complete. Excitement for what is to come. Sadness that food insecurity is such a huge issue right here in our very own community. Worry for all these families that we serve month after month that share their stories and families with us each month when they come through for food. These families are surviving right now simply because of us. Proud of our little church food pantry, our volunteers, and all the donors that have helped to make this year successful. So as we enter another year of so much unknown, I can confidently walk with my head held high knowing the amazing work we are doing right here at Holy Cross will continue for years to come.
At our final pantry of the year, each household received a plate of cookies and hot cocoa from their friends at Holy Cross and a box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Snacks from their friends at Northwest Hills.
Continue watching Facebook and the bulletin announcements for our food needs list.
