Join us as we celebrate and pray for our Graduating Seniors!

Jonah Adams will be graduating from Omaha North High School where he was active in JROTC, Cross Country and Skills USA. He's planning to attend Metro Community College where he will study Culinary Arts. Following his time at Metro, he hopes to attend UNO where he will major in Business and minor in Japanese while being active in ROTC. His goal is to obtain an Officer commission through Creighton's ROTC and to continue serving in the Army National Guard. He hopes to pursue a career in culinary arts by means of travel, owning a restaurant, and teaching. Jonah is the son of Akemi and Josh Adams.  

Kailyn Grunke is graduating from Millard North High School, where she was active in Color Guard and Winter Guard. Kailyn was an active volunteer for our VBS, Music & Art Camp as well as our Food Pantry at Holy Cross. She will be attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Kearney, NE and is planning to major in Special Education. She is also planning to be a part of their Winter Guard at UNK. Kailyn is the daughter of Carissa and Chris Grunke.  

Michael Howatt is a graduate of Omaha Burke High school, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, JROTC, French Club, Concert Choir, Tea Club, Drama Club, and Book Club. Michael received the Regent Scholarship and will be attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he plans to major in Pre-Med. Michael is the son of Theresa Howatt.  

Cole Kreber is a graduate of Omaha Central High School, where he played Baseball, Basketball, and Unified Bowling. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the O Club. Cole will be attending Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. He will be majoring in Computer Science and playing baseball. Cole is the son of Lindsey and Jerry Kreber.  

Hannah Westenburg is a graduate of Millard North High School, where she was in Show Choir, served as a mentor and a part of the International Baccalaureate Program. Hannah will be attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where she plans to major in Pre-Veterinary Medicine with a minor in Animal Sciences. She hopes to be a part of the Vet Club and the Lutheran Campus Ministry at UNL. Hannah is the daughter of Laura and Paul Westenburg.  

 

Loving God, we ask that you make your presence known to Jonah, Kailyn, Michael, Cole, and Hannah and their families as they celebrate this great milestone. Empower these young people to walk into the future with hope, love, courage, and faith, guided by your light so that they may be a light to others. Amen.
