Alleluia!  Christ is risen!  We continue to celebrate the Easter season for the first three weeks of May, continuing the joyful good news of the resurrection as well as proclaiming the promise of new life for us.   During this season of celebration, we also celebrate various milestones with our young people - the affirmation of baptism on May 3rd and recognizing our graduating seniors on May 17th.

This year, May is also a month of transition in our liturgical calendar.  We begin May with the three final weeks of Easter, but we then enter into a new season as we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.

The final Sunday of May is another special Sunday as we remember the gifts of the Holy Trinity on Trinity Sunday.  This is considered a holy day in the church calendar, where we lift up the triune nature of God - our God who creates, redeems, and sustains us with diversity and relationship.  Thanks be to God!
