Winter Gear Drive

During the month of October, our Prayer Shawl Ministry is hosting a Winter Gear Drive for CIRA - Center for Immigrant and Refugee Advancement. 

CIRA's mission is "to empower immigrants and refugees to live confidently through high-quality legal representation, resettlement and social work to create welcome communities through education and advocacy." Many immigrants and refugees who arrive in Nebraska are not equipped to endure our harsh winters, and we can help with that! 

Our knitters and crocheters have been hard at work making winter hats, scarves, and mittens for CIRA - and we would love your help supplying them with items for the families they serve.

We are collecting NEW winter gear for CIRA (in all sizes!):

• Hats
• Gloves
• Scarves
• Winter Coats
• Winter Boots
• Snow Pants

Donations can be placed on or under our Giving Tree in the Narthex during the month of October.
