We continue our Summer Worship Series: “Change the Story: Rethinking Answers to Life's Most Important Questions.” (CLICK HERE for more information about the series.) During the month of July, we will reflect on the following questions:

  • July 4:  How does God Act?   Change the story from "God of Power and Control" to "God of Love." 1 Corinthians 1:21-25 & Mark 14:32-42.
  • July 11: What is God up to?  Change the story from God has a Plan" to "God of an Open Future." Jeremiah 29:11-14 & Matthew 6:31-34.
  • July 18: How are We Involved in what God is doing?  Change the story from "God acts Sporadically and Miraculously" to " God is Always Luring Us to Goodness." Romans 8:28-30 & Mark 8:11-12.
  • July 25: What's the Heart of Christianity?  Change the story from "Christianity as Primarily set of Morals and Rules" to "Christianity as a Way of Life."  Deuteronomy 5:12-15 & Luke 11:37-42.
