It just seemed silly to ask our congregation to collect sticks in their yard when there was 7 inches of snow and more snow to come.  However, some of you were able to gather a bundle or two, and you see them every Sunday on FB Live.  Yes, every week!

Take a moment and look at the cross right behind Pastor Jim:  your left and his right.  That is the cross that was made with the sticks that  you gathered!  What makes this more signifcant is that the cross will transform into butterflies that you have made.

Soon, there will be an opportunity for you to make tissue butterflies that will be part of Easter morning.  I find it fasicinating how the colorless cocoon evolves into a beautiful butterfly.  We will be giving out information soon on how and when you can pick up your materials to make those beautuful butterflies!
