Last year when Ryan started college, a friend brought over a care package for me the week before she moved to campus.  Nothing fancy, just some lotion, some tea, a few cookies, and a loaf of pumpkin bread.  She wanted me to know that she understood how hard this milestone could be for moms and that she was thinking of me.  I cannot tell you how much that gift basket meant to me.  I WAS having a really hard time and her thoughtfulness made me feel less alone and extremely loved.

Come over to Holy Cross on Saturday September 12th from noon - 2 PM for a Puzzle Exchange!

Drop off your old puzzles, and take some new (to you!) puzzles home! Bring a friend!

*If you are bringing puzzles, make sure all the pieces are included. If your puzzle is missing pieces, please clearly mark that on the box

On Sunday October 18th from 4:00-8:00 PM, we'll have a congregational picnic and bonfire at Monke Lodge at Carol Joy Holling Camp in Ashland, NE.

There will be indoor board games, outdoor games, a bonfire and lots of FUN!  This will be a potluck picnic, so please bring your favorite picnic item to share (there is electricity and a fridge available if needed)! S'more supplies for the bonfire and a few drink options will be provided. 

We have the space from 4:00-8:00 pm. Come and go as you need! We'll plan to eat around 5:00 pm.

We hope you can join us for a lovely fall evening with our church family!
