I just finished reading a book by Brian McLaren about spiritual practices that really inspired me.  The book reminded me that ancient Christinaty was often referred to as “the Way.”  The Way was not a set of beliefs, but a way of life - a path learned by following Jesus.

Dear Holy Cross Lutheran Church,

Thank you! Thank you for all that you do as God's beloved people in Omaha, and thank you especially for your continued participation in mission share.

Through you, so much good work is done in the world, and more so, God's abundant love is shown, embodied, and made real daily! There are countless stories that I could share of how your congregation meets your neighbors where they are at as signs of God's gracious love. You matter and make a difference, Holy Cross, and I am grateful for you!

On behalf of your siblings in Christ, near and far, thank you, thank you, thank you!

God's blessing and Peace,

Timothy - NE Synod
