Over the holiday weekend, my family and I spent time at Thomas Lake near Ashland, NE.  Every morning while most of the family was sleeping, I would take a paddle board out and paddle across the still water.  Early morning is my favorite time and even though it was a bit chilly, I love that quiet, peaceful time to watch the heron looking for breakfast, the fish jumping clear out of the water (why do they do that?), and the colors of the sky gradually changing with the rising sun.

God's Good Creation

YOU are invited to join us for VBS June 29 - July 2, 6:00-7:45 PM! Registration is LIVE!

Our theme this year is God's Good Creation! We will hear stories and participate in activities that remind us that ALL of God's creation is GOOD. It will be a fun week of learning, playing, moving and singing! Bring a friend!!

• The cost is $10 for the week for students entering PreK-5th grade in the 2026-2027 school year. 

Registration deadline is Sunday June 21.

This year's graduating class is small but mighty - we are so excited to celebrate Addison Krueger!

Addi is a graduate of Elkhorn South High School where she was an active part of the Marching Band, Hope Squad, Theater, Tech Team, National Honors Society, and SADD. She's been an active part of our youth ministry program throughout her high school years, attending youth mission trips and leading worship with her musical talents. Addi plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where she plans to be a part of the Pride of All Nebraska - the UNL Marching Band. Addi plans to major in MicroBiology and hopes to travel abroad.

Addison is the daughter of Alisa and Ed Krueger.

Please join us in congratulating Addi on her high school achievements, and praying for her and her family.

Loving God, we ask that you make your presence known to Addi and her family as they celebrate this great milestone. Empower Addi to walk into the future with hope, love, courage, and faith, guided by your light so that she may be a light to others. Amen.
