Foolish Wisdom

A dark night sky
Full of tiny, twinkling lights.
Eyes watching and waiting
Paying attention
Keeping awake.

Who would follow a star?
Who would make that journey
Into the unknown
Trusting only starlight?

Reckless and foolish
History has named them wise.
It was God’s guidance
That tiny glimmer
Led to a miracle.

In the early part of January, you will notice that we continue to sing Christmas Carols and the decorations are still up. You would think that everything would be taken down on the 26th of December! This is where “The Twelve Days of Christmas” seem to have significance.

Sarah Circle - Meets at Holy Cross on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:30am.    
Rachel Circle - Meets via zoom on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm.  Contact Peg Schneider at schneider7@cox.net for more information.
Both groups use the ELCA Women’s Gather magazine for their study.
