God is at work in our lives in so many ways. We just need to look around to recognize it. To help you do that this month, encourage members of your family to take time EVERY DAY of November to write down something you are thankful for. You can do this on a sheet of paper. You can put slips of paper in a jar. You could even make a big paper chain. Taking time each day to reflect on the things that bring joy, light, and love to our lives helps us see where God is at work. What are YOU thankful for?
On November 28 following worship, you are invited to join us in the Fellowship Hall for our Advent Gathering! You will have the opportunity to make an Advent paper chain with daily activities, scripture and prayer; roll new beeswax candles for your Advent wreath; or take part in a small Advent craft. All ages and family sizes are welcome to join in the fun as we get ready for the season of Advent and prepare for Jesus!
