Breathe With Me

We have officially entered the season of Lent. A time to pause and reflect on our Christian story. A time to slow down and think about Jesus - who Jesus was and is - and who we are called to be as followers of Jesus. Let's breathe together as we enter the season of Lent. 

Find a quiet, comfortable place to relax. Repeat the following words in our mind out loud with each inhale and exhale. 

Inhale: Come, Holy Spirit.

Exhale: Fill me with your presence. 

"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call him Immanuel. (which means God With Us)."
Matthew 1:23

Jesus - Immanuel - God With Us. 

Confirmation

We are planning to move to in person Confirmation classes on Wednesday March 3rd. We will meet in the sanctuary-with masks and socially distanced. An email was sent out to parents about this.  Please reach out to Pastor Jim with any questions or concerns. 

2021 Summer Youth Trip

Youth Group

We will continue to meet for a quick zoom check in at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays during Lent. The meeting link is sent via email to parents and via text message to the high school students. Meeting in person again is a definite possibility, so watch your email for more updates. 

During Lent, high school youth are invited to participate in a weekly devotional called "Where Your Heart Is" by Illustrated Ministry. This little devotional booklet is meant to be colored in, doodled on, and written on. When we meet on Wednesday evenings, we'll talk about that week's story and theme. I hope this can be a resource for our high school youth to take some time to reflect during this season of Lent.
