The Holy Cross Food Pantry continues to serve the community the First Saturday and Third Thursday of every month. We will continue with our drive-thru pantry service until further notice.
WOW! Thank you all SO for helping to make this year's Thanksgiving Food Pantry a huge success. Whether it was donating food or money, prepping the 630 food bags, helping set things up, unloading trucks, or serving that evening of the pantry, you all did amazing things. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, energy, and financial contributions on such an important ministry. The final numbers for the evening were 217 households with 924 individuals. 200 received turkeys and the remaining 17 households received a regular pantry. The parking lot was full by 4:30 and the turkeys were spoken for by the cars in the lot by 5:20pm. WOW!
Also thanking our neighborhood churches; Maplewood Methodist, Lord of Love, and Northwest Hills. Maplewood Methodist collected all 200 cans of cranberry sauce and Lord of Love collected all 200 containers of frosting to help complete our Thanksgiving Bags. Northwest Hills collected tons of stuffing, even with a water main break at their church! Without every single one of our volunteers/donors/neighborhood churches, we would not be as successful as we are. Thank you for making this happen.
Continue watching Facebook and the bulletin announcements for our food needs list.
Our numbers served through the years for reference.
We appreciate all of your support as we continue to serve the community.
