On June 25th, 5 youth and 2 adults will head to Minneapolis for the annual Junior High Road Trip. While they are in Minnesota, they will spend a day working with Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota's Refugee Services department. They'll learn all about Minnesota's work with refugees, why there are refugees, what refugees go through, AND they'll get to set up an apartment for a family needing a home.

As a gift to Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, they will be hosting a Toilet Paper and Men's Deodorant Drive. Please bring any donations of toilet paper or men's deodorant to church June 11th through June 25th. The students will bring these items to Minnesota so LSS can continue to help refugee families in a variety of ways.

You can drop your donations off in the labeled bin in the Narthex. Thank you for loving your neighbor in this way!

"for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me somthing to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me."
Matthew 25: 35-36
